Cocoa Puffs

“Cocoa Puffs” is my name for the dotted fabric, designed by my partner Yolanda V. Fundora for Free Spirit Fabrics. Actually the dots look like Trix and the background is the same color as Cocoa Puffs, so the fabric represents both cereals.
I just knew this fabric would have a strange bedfellow, and I found it in the blue “Tuscan” stripe.
The design was influenced by the East Quilts West style of Kumiko Sudo, and by the sculptural piecing and quilting techniques of Ruth B. McDowell.
