Pamela Zave's Art Quilts

I love the way the three peach-colored fabrics go together.  The idea of a quilt based on three fabrics seemed to call for a traditional block pattern.  This one has the lovely name of “Memory."

 

As I worked on the piecing, the effervescence of the bubbles took me over.  They showed up in the quilting and in the appliqued tendrils, which are inspired by Jane Sassaman's Quilted Garden style.

 

The quilt is called “Satisfaction” because, for me, it illustrates that feeling.
